LQJO travel to Taiwan Day 5 - Beitou Hot Spring -> DanShui - >Fisherman Wharf ->ChiaTe
12.10.15
So fast..it's Day 5. We went to Beitou Hot Spring Resort at Xinbeitou. We MRT-ed all the way to Beitou station, it's the ending train station so we won't missed the stop. There were directions to guide us to Xinbeitou station. The train took quite awhile for it to arrive. After we stepped out of the station, there's a 7eleven (you wont missed it cos it's straight head). The Beitou Hot Spring is just behind it.
There is noone on the street..super quiet town.
We had a hot spring room for NT1150..less than SGD$60.
My paranoma view got distorted.
Time to fill our tubs with Hotspring water.
Shampoo/soap/facial package was provided.Bf claimed that the soap smell super nice.
After 1hour of soaking in the Spring water, there's a complimentary snack for us.
We had a great time at this hotel with good company, service, hot spring, food!
We went over to the Hot Spring Museum, straight up the slope. We had to change to their shoes in order to get in.
The layout of the museum
I took a sneak picture of the the Public hot spring
We walked straight ahead,up a slope, to the Beitou Thermal Valley.
It got really hot when we reached the Thermal Valley.Scorching Hot, i could not open my eyes, had to squish it.
Went for the known ramen at Beitou. They used spring water to cook the noodles. No photography allowed. But we only manage to take photo of the ramen and not the rest.
Erm the ramen wasn't that fantastic. The soup base was just meh and the ramen texture is thick and so not smooth. But then the pork chop and the egg yolk cooked from the spring water is damn good!
Another round of the Thermal Valley because it was crowded earlier on.
We had ice cream!! After a long HOT walk.Needed this to cool us down.
Head straight to Tamsui station and couldn't believe we just walked one whole big round just to get to the boat station to Fisherman Wharf, where actually it's just behind the station. There was this Tamshui old street that sells lots of things too.
We tapped on our easy card to board the boat to Fisherman Wharf..so here we goo~
We alighted the boat and toured around Fisherman Wharf. The wind was quite strong that my hair was swept at different direction,i looked super messy.
We were waiting for the sun set as this place is known for it.
The clouds covered the beautiful sunset and the crowd starts to disperse. And we kissed~ Aww so romantic.
Rang the wedding bell..okay no is a normal bell..not too sure why it's there too.
My loverboy just gave me a kiss!
Went for a last minute shopping at CHIA TE for their goodies. Apparently, their pineapple tarts got sold out.We only managed to buy Tai Yang Bing instead.
Then we went to Farmosa Chang for dinner and tried their lu rou fan and pork chop.
Back to hotel with goodies, goodies and more goodies!!!
