Chendol agar agar cake


(A) Gula Melaka agar agar

3g - Agar Agar powder
50g - Gula Melaka
250ml - Water

Method:
1. Cook agar agar powder with 250ml water and add in gula Melaka.Continue to Si,Mer until gula Melaka full dissolved.
2.Sieve mixture.
3. Set aside.

(B) Clear agar agar
6g - Agar Agar powder
70g -Sugar
500ml - Water

Method:
1. Combine all and bring to boil.

(C) Coconut agar agar
6g - Agar Agar powder
250ml - Coconut
250ml - Water
70g - Sugar

Method:
1.Combine all and bring to boil.

(D) Chendol strips - about 1 cup

Assembling steps:
1. Pour 60ml of clear agar agar into module, then quickly add in chendol strips into agar agar layer.Allow it to rest.
2. Pour 250ml of gula Melaka agar agar over first layer.Let it set.
3. Pour 100ml of coconut agar agar.Let it set.
4. measure 100ml of Clear agar agar,add colouring.Pour over.Let it set.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until mould is filled.
6.Set aside to cool and chill in fridge.

* Suggested sequence colouring for step 4: red,yellow green.
