Food at TCA

Food 29.6.16

Booked the lunch appointment at TCA with Kartini and Alfred.

We had to choose our menu from the kitchen itself.

After ordering , we watched the students prepare our food.

Yay our foods is ready!

We carried the tray of food into the classroom.

See these yummy food..It's damn good except for the cold soup.

I could not appreciate it.

$12 for this lunch is so worth it!:)

Met up with bf since he has no work now. We dined at the Taipei food near sukiya.And all i can say is the food is terrible and expensive.Not going there anymore LOL. Though it's suppose to be a "celebration" dinner and he wanted to try it.His HAPPY face.Mine SAD face then a smiley face.We had Nunsuyee for dessert to end our day!Oreo bingsu..my favourite.yum yum.

Here we explore! Suntec-Day

Food 26.6.16

Bf stayed over the night and we woke up late on the Sunday morning.
Lazing around before we had our brunch.

Went to book our movie tickets at Suntec Tower - Independence Day.
I didn't know that there is a movie theater in Suntec! Damn Suaku~
We explored around the Suntec towers and got lost a few times.
There were too many things to shop and bf show me Paserbella.
We took the long way there.LOL.

Had a cup of Red Velvet Mocha from SARNIES COFFEE @ $7.50.
The unique taste of the coffee aroma plus red velvet is heaven.
Definitely worth the price!

We head back to watch Independence Day.

Overall, the show is still not bad,the actions and effects are fantastic.

As we sat in the the 2nd row,there's some sort of 3D effect.

The ending is predictable though,it's like any end of the world and there's always someone to protect the world.

Liam Hemsworth is super handsome in the movie *screams*.

We then went back to Paserbella for dinner.

We ordered Sunkissed Salmon roll from Rollie Olie @$16.95

I love the roll, it's good! But it's kinda pricey.

Bf ordered Mixed seafood with 2 sides Ocean Box set from Cajun on Wheels @ $11.50.

He chose the salted egg sauce.

The portion is definitely worth it, so much seafood and it's fresh.

However, don't expect too much for the sauce.It's only a light taste of the salted egg.

We will definitely come back here again to try out the other food.

We continued our shopping and decided to try Tuk Tuk Cha milk tea.

Ordered the large cup for $3.50 and apparently the drink soso only.

Bf had tummyache afterwards.Eeks!

While on our way home, i tried the SnapChat app.hehe.

Here comes all the spam.

Wednesday Meetup!

Besties 22.6.16

Met up with this girl on weds and have sazeraiya for dinner.
There's so much for us to talk about- our current jobs ,life , marriage and our future plans.

We chatted till someone came over to tell us that white sands is having a power shutdown.
Lol!Then we scurried out of the mall and went home.

Playing snapchat and gotten a face swap. We look so funny!

Meet up with sec schl besties

Besties 20.6.16

Met up with Rach and the rest for dinner after work at Nangfa Thai Kitchen.
Apparently , it much popular as compared to Nakhon Kitchen.

We ordered each of us a main dish - mine was basil pork, but ended up basil beef, Pandan chicken,spring roll,tom yum , and mango sticky rice shared by Val and I.

Overall, I think their Pandan chicken and mango sticky rice is good.The rest is kinda average to me.

We forgotten to take a group photo. But oh well. We gonna take it on Monday :)

And also thanks to Regina's bf, we have gotten home safely.

Lazy Sunday

Had the woman thing thus the cramps here and there.
Most of the days are just lazing around, watching my vampire diaries.

Bf is sweet enough to buy and deliver my 1 week lunch in the evening.
When i open the door - The heavy plastic bag and his angsty face.
After the grocery bags are loaded off him, we went to white sand for dinner.
Sushi Express again.

Afterwards, we went back home to watch Running Man.
As usual, he fell asleep and here goes his POWER NAP before he goes home.

Cooking day:Garlic Fried Rice and Teriyaki Chicken

Sunday Sunday..So fast Sunday.

I hardly even rest.

Bf came to my house to fetch me to meet with his family at Red Star Dim Sum restaurant.

This is to celebrate advance Father Day.

Had sooo much dim sum and felt so bloated.

We then went to look for Gold for his 2nd sis's wedding.

Didn't know that the guy family had to buy gold for the female

And vice versa.On top of that, the guy had to give another gold to the wife.

Bf and I went back home first as the weather was too hot and his legs were aching.

We completed watching The Innocence Man starred by Joong Ki.

The whole drama was average.In between was quite raging.

Bf and I proceed to start cooking. He went to cooked Garlic fried rice.

Master Chef Leow in the cooking.

He burnt the first round of garlic..but when comes to 2nd round, he perfected it.

Nice golden,brown crispy garlic.

Next is the cooking of the teriyaki Chicken.

It's just marinating of the teriyaki sauce.

And top it of with more teriyaki sauce when frying it in pan.

The only thing lacking is the crispiness of the chicken skin.

And the saltiness of the chicken(perhaps too much of the sauce).

Otherwise, it's perfect.The juiciness and tender of the meat. Yums.

Pissed off

10.6.16

Feeling messy and pissed off now.

Seriously whenever i'm angry or feeling low, he never fail to just leave me behind/alone.
Rather than stand by me or support me.no
I felt disappointed and even worse.
And when i needed him, he just don't want to be there.

Today is really a bad day and it's only Friday the 10th not 13th.
More work and didn't expect that something got caught up.

FML seriously.

And so CL ended up acc me go cos i ask if anyone wants to pei me.
Then she at first say no thank you because she is sick of "it"
But then she added on..she will accompany me because of me and not "it"

I'm speechless..

In regardless of "it", she accompany me because of me.
While another one just...forget it..i'm..just...

Romantic Picnic at the beach

JO&LQlovediary 5.6.16

Met up with the bf on Sunday at White Sand.
I finally return the chemistry storybook and borrowed a novel instead.

BF and i bought $50 worth of food for picnic.
We took away Sushi,chicken cutlet,oyster mee sua, potato chips,drink.
Lucky us got a good spot at the bbq pit facing the sea.

YAY!! PICNIC TIME~

My Favourite sushi-Salmon Aburi and Salman Mentai!!

Here's the fun part:

As we were so full we could not finish the sushi so we ended up playing Hei Bai Pei and Chi Ku Pa.

Winner eat the meat Loser eat the rice.

MUAHAHAHA BF ATE MOST OF THE RICE. ROFL.

We laughed and laughed.

Hilarious and fun night~

Toured around E-hub before we headed home to continue our Innocent Man drama. :)

BF's 28 birthday

birthday 4.6.16

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BF!!!

Gave bf a surprise by appearing at his house door early in the morning.

Freak me out when the window and curtain were closed.So i decided to call him.

And he woke up.The night before i lie to him to call me wake up at 9.30am.

BF and i watched the Chinese running man (with joong ki inside)*fan girl mode on*

Both his sisters gave him thick thick ang bao as gifts.

On our way to our 1st plan of the day.Let's take a wefie first.

We reached Orchard a little too early thus we did a little shopping.

I got panic as we went up the wrong escalator and ended up at Wheelock place.

Almost late for the reservation.

Here we are at the Salt Grill and Sky Bar. :)

Bf accidentally saw my plan in my phone..so not fun.

We were being welcomed by the beautiful scenery and lucky us got the window seat.

We ordered the lunch set ($49 for 3 course mea)

So worth it.

Bf selecting his meals.

And while we were waiting for the food.

Took photo of him.

Chips were served as "appetiser" i guess.

It's like restaurant serving peanuts.

The chips are good when mixed with the sauce.

The scenery. The window were abit dirty though.

Our 2nd appetisers is here!

Bf's ‘glass’ Sydney crab omelette, miso mustard broth.

This is good and a must order.

Bf had this and was almost full.

Mine was Sashimi of Tasmanian salmon, ginger, eschallot & goats feta

Bf said it taste like lau yu sheng.
But i think it's not as good as his appetiser.
Too much ginger but i love the salmon.

Followed by our main course;

Mine: Pan-fried Snapper, squid ink risotto, tomato salsa

I love my main course,

It''s toooo delicious.

The combination of tomato sourness plus the sweetness of the fish is good.

His: Slow cooked duck leg, cherries, baby beets and horseradish

Bf said his was quite terrible.

The sauce doesn't goes well with the sauce, and i agree with him.

It taste weird.

Everytime he orders duck confit and it always taste soso to him.

Guess he is never gonna order anymore duck confit. ROFL.

The pretty sugar was served.

It's dessert time!

JUST KIDDING!!

The server gave him a surprise by singing Happy Birthday
while serving the desert with candle out.

And HEY! That's my dessert.

We server is so nice and took a photo of us with the desert.
Hahah we looked so dark cos of the bright sky.
DON'T LOOK AT MY FAT ARMS.
& I wish blogger has smiley face for us to express ourself.

Dessert: Sorbet, crumbs, berries

This is the dessert that he chose but it becomes my dessert.

But BOTH dessert were good as well.soo it's okay.

Now, we had 2 couple watches.

Before we settle our bill and leave for our 2nd plan of the day.

We took many photos to make this day a memorable one

Next! Foot massage for 1hr15mins at Urban Spa.

I bought the package from groupon,

$42 for 2 pax.

The foot service is good for me,enough strength and prompt when required.

Bf had a little snore too. kekeke.I couldn't help but to um chio.

Complimentary dessert and drinks served after service.
We are required to rate their service.
NO hardselling , that's the most important factor when i chose this outlet.
You don't have to stress about buying their package or whatsoever
and step out of the shop happily.

We travelled all the way to Boufe Cafe.

I always thought it a little further from Orchard.

Because the address stated at Tanglin.

But apparently is damn far , like nearest to Redhill station.

After alighting the busstop, we still had to walk further in, very inaccessible.

When we got inside, was quite surprise that there wasn't many people.

So lucky for us, we don't have to wait for our seats.

Bf laughed at me cause i had made reservation for it.

Chilli Beef Fries.

Apparently, Carls Junior CBF is way nicer to eat.

The fries here is not bad but it's a little cold and doesn't taste so much of the beef.

But one thing awesome is their portion of fries is huge.

We also tried the colour changing drink.

And all i can say is the only thing fascinating is the changing colour process.

The drink taste awful.

Bf Main menu came.

The teriyaki burger and chips set.

He says it's good!Very special.

But only if the chicken can be grilled longer.

And the chips are good to eat.

He was kidding when he said he want to go the back of the shop to see what chips they bought.

Mine was the Thai Green Curry .

And it has a unique taste to eat and it's worth it.

The seafood was given a big portion and i really love how it's being cooked.

We were too full after the food.

We couldn't finish the fries and i left a small portion of pasta unfinished.

I think their main course taste soo much better.

But we were sad also cos we couldn't try the crayfish bun.SAD.

After settling the bill. we went outside of the Boufe Cafe.

Took photo of the pretty lighting.

I guess this is the first and last time going to this cafe.
It's far and inaccessible.Food wise still okay.
I think the best cafe i eat so far is Fresh Fruit Lab.

Went home and wait for his mom to end work before cake cutting.
Happy Birthday my Darling.

We took a "Family shot" without his dad cos he was sleeping.

And I'm glad that they love the birthday cake that i bought.

My man had turned 28 years old.

I hope he is healthy and happy everyday.

And I hope i make his birthday a happy one too.
