Our sundate at Marina

27.3.16

Hello.

Bf planned on flying kite and so here we are at Marina Barrage.
We were lost twice while trying to reach our destination.
The last time we went is prolly 1 or 2 years ago...
First - took mrt to Marina South Pier and realised it couldn't get us there.
Second - took mrt again and this time round to Marina Bay station, we walked to different bus stops but could not find any bus that can pass by marina barrage.
We then head back to the MRT station service counter to enquire and finally got the directions.
We were quite lucky that Bus 400 came soon after we reached the busstop.

There were very few people at the rooftop and also very windy despite of the hot weather.
Me and my messy hair while we get ready our kite and snacks.

My kite flew super far.Yay~
I rolled all the strings and see my kite flying freely in they sky.

Honey Bunny turn to fly the kite.

And yea, our kite fell and the string stuck onto the trees while honey bunny was trying to help the little boy retrieve his kite.
But ended up, the boy's kite handle and the kite dropped into the "construction" area.
Our kite session ended because the string shorten by a lengthful and the stick(to support the back of the kite) broke.
I was so sad as we only flew the kite for a short while and this happen.

So we spend our time taking photos.
(My fringe so terrible and messy)

We took jump shots!

We went back to Marina Bay to see the iLight and carnival.
Uncle Ringo Carnival - very expensive!
Each game cost $5,bumper car cost $10?!!
When i saw the price, i'm like i rather spend on food.

We went PasarBella to have a early dinner before we go for the iLight event which starts at 7.30pm.

The's a few food stalls.
Prices of the food were indeed little costly. But it's worth a try.
There were many people queueing for the seasalt bar,but we didn't manage to try.

We went to buy salted egg fries from THE SALTED EGG.
The salted egg sauce is way too disappointing.
The colour of the fries shows that they used overnight oil to fry the fries.
And the fries cost $10.meh...

We also ordered chilli crab bao and pulled pork bao from THE BAO MAKER.
Their bao still not bad.Worth a try~
The cost of this set is $16.Expensive but at least it tasted good.
Honey Bunny wanted o try the salted egg bao though.
Next time then...

We went to take a walk and chilled at some platform.
Our view at the platform was amazing.
Didn't know singapore city can be so beautiful.

Bf dazing off...

Before we start our iLight "adventure", a wefie first.

Our iLight "adventure" begins

1. The Lotus with beautiful rainbow projection

2. The bubble maker

3. Angel Wings
(There were 4 angel wings and long queues. We were fortunate to find that one of the queue is shorter. We manage to take photo with it and the couple behind us were nice to help take photo of honey bunny and I)

I've posted the one below, cos i find it nice.
Honey Bunny kissed me under the angel wing.
Kekeke.

We didn't manage to cover all the iLight art pieces because they were placed kinda far.
But it's okay.We have work tomorrow and have to head home early.

We were trying to kiss in mrt station but it turns out like this.
