The day I turned 24

birthday 27.7.15

Happy birthday to me!

How time flies and i'm 24..oh no!!I am getting older and older.

Anw, i went for a massage nearby my house to relax and also to pamper myself.

I felt my whole body muscle loosen, never felt so good.

And it cost 38 dollar for foot and shoulder massage.

When i got home, my family sang happy birthday song and then cut cake-Fruit cake!

Slack at home for the whole day watching the return of superman.

I totally missed this slacking lifestyle as i've been either working or studying non-stop.

At night, I went out with bf to have a simple dinner at Changi Village.

I wore the bag that Jiaqi,CL and Grace has bought me for my birthday.

We decided to try Aji-ichi as their price were reasonable and it's new?

1set meal,along with a side dish,soup and free flow tea cost max $14.90 and cheaper $9.90.Cheap?

And it does not incur any Gst, bf had to go to the cashier to pay the bill and also to fill the cups with tea, kind of like a "self service".But food will be served to you.

Looks super good right??!and it's yummy too.Just that his main was a little cold.

Mine still the best though - the sauce is omg so good

and the salad taste like coleslaw and potato mixed

However, i don't like the sauce that is on top of the tofu, it totally spoil the taste.

After dinner,we head home so that he could rest early

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thanks those that remembered my birthday, celebrated with me with a gift and even if it's just a simple birthday wish.One more polaroid and rechargeable battery coming my way hehe..

Train of thoughts and feelings

My deep thought of the day .. My realization left me with great disappointment. I suddenly felt that I am not part of an influence to my bf. For example.. I ask him to listen to music/sing and he always answered a firm "no I don't listen to music or sing" even if I asked him to.. But his friends told him something and then he listen to music. In fact,it shock me and part of me just sank, because it's not just this matter. I don't even know which part of I am important to him is true when action speak louder than words ...sometimes I even feel that only when he is bored then he reply me.. This sucks because I came to realize that when I am with him he used hp a lot and hardly speak to me but when he is out with friends he barely even whatapp me because he is with friends. See the difference? I feel so emotional and think is it me that is boring or I am just not impt to him because his action doesn't shows at all.

Sunday Surprise

Besties 12.7.15

Bf and I decided to go swimming on a Sunday. We really needed an exercise for us to keep fit , plus we had free entry (supposingly $2) since we sign up for the active sg( entitled $100). Swam for approx. 2 hours at the Pasir Ris swimming complex. I felt great after the exercise and then sleepy...

Lunch at white sand Thai express.I ordered the Tom yum fish while bf ordered the olive rice plus mango sticky rice. The food standard really dropped a lot and not worth the price. Sigh~

We went home for a short break before heading out to meet with my poly besties. Met up with them at Clarke quay for Korean food.hehe and also celebrated adv birthday for me,I receive 2 presents - their presence and the presents- lunch treat,biore sunscreen spray, rubber band and BAG!! No cakes cos we were old enough. Another round of Korean food at rolling rice for our rice cake , seaweed soup(Koreans had that for their birthday) and also BINGSU.Our time were spent on sharing horror stories haha got kind of scared though cos it's night time.

We ended our days with lots of photos.hehes.. Despite our busy schedules , we still able to draw out some time for each other. That's what besties are for~

Went on a date with my bf at NEX for the snowman dessert because he said that it sells bingsu and i've yet to one. We've also ordered the soy sauce chicken (4 for $16) and it tasted horrible and bitter taste. YUck! But the Melon bingsu tasted good.

Lets take a closer look at the yummy melon bingsu.

Went Hai Bin for prawning, it's located in Punggol (previously at Bishan), which means now it's nearer to my area muahaha YAY! And so i was asked to choose a fishing rod and i got no. "48" and realize our indicator was broken *GAHHH!* I told bf that we aim to catch 10 prawns and true enough,before the uncle collect our rod, we caught the 10th prawn. *LQJO GUINNESS WORLD RECORD* hahaha. Met a really nice lady who is welling to share her bbq pit and we cooked our prawns. The prawns tasted so fresh,sweet and chewy..I love the taste of it and am craving for it.

Went to Uncle Leong seafood, bf state that it's famous. It's located just beside Hai Bin and the queue was horrendously long. But when bf and i got the queue number and ordered our food, we are given a table immediately.Lucky us~ We ordered the Yang zhou fried rice, claypot tofu, shimmering sand (Liu Sha) crab and mantou. The crab flesh was big and yummy along with the sauce. The rest tasted normal.The crab was indeed delicious yet expensive. Our bill was $90 plus but its our first time trying so itss okayyy.

We bought "alcohol" to drink before heading home. 30 mins ride home from Punggol :)

Btw, Guess who drink the Apple cider and root beer??

TADA!! I drank the alcoholic one -apple cider while bf had the root beer. hehe someone should be have phobia after his company cruise trip.

Let's get together for lunch

Went with Kar,Ting and Wan Quan to Together Cafe for lunch.

This is one good thing about having someone who drive haha! we get to eat better food.

I love the quotes featuring on their wall.

We 4 ordered the same - Pork Cordon Bleu.

And it's super good. Must TRY!

And shared a choco lava cake. Kinda disappointing because THE CHOC CANNOT FLOW

Plans during holiday

Hello! so...i'm still having my holidays which means spare time for me after work.I had to plan well to make full use of my time wisely.

Here's my plan:
1)Cancel my credit cards (prevent from spending too much) - Done
2)Read Good Leader ask good question (by John Maxwell)
3)Update my certificates /resume - Done

4)Learn one ukelele song
5)Reduce weight to 58kg.(erm yea one step at a time first)

6) Finish my painting - Done

And maybe it's time for me to find extra job to earn extra income for my future...

Day spend on a Sunday

There is finally a cafe in Pasir Ris - Caffe Bavo !!

It's located in downtown east.

so BF and I visited the cafe to try their waffles.

"Be awesome be somebody's reason to smile"

Bf modelling for Guess watch haha..these days he quite zi lian..don't know why.

Here comes our waffle with nutella rocher ice cream topping.
Super yummy and it's only $8.90.

BUT had to wait for me to take a nice photo of the waffle.

Took a walk at the Pasir ris park.
I showed bf the crab habitat area in one part of pasir ris park.
haha the crabs are all so small and cute.

Trying to do a jump shot but fail.

I think it's been year since we've taken a stroll at the park.
A simple day spend with my love one. *hearts*

Happy 6 years 5 months darling!

Food 1.7.15

Celebrated our monthsary with my dardar after work.We met up at Goodwood Park hotel to try their durian cakes since it is the Durian Fiesta 2015.Went to the cafe which we could order ala carte.

Here's the menu

(Rainbow durian cake, "Mao Shan Wang" horn and durian puffs)

DURIAN RAINBOW CAKE

Tasted heavenly, it tasted like icecream cake.

The cake texture is so soft and fluffy.

And it is as if they just freeze the durian and surround it with the cake,

DURIAN PUFFS

The puff crust tasted quite dry.

It's creamy but the taste is soso only.

The overall taste is average to me

MAO SHAN WANG HORN

The crust is too hard but "crispy"

But it does not really mix well with the durian cream.

Overall, we love the Durian Rainbow cake

so we took photo with it.LOL

And took wefie in front of Goodwood Park

to mark on our monthsary memories.

We went to shop around Orchard and had our 2nd round at Koh Grill and sushi bar,located at Wisma Atria.Ordered Shiok Maki and it tasted so shiok that both of us love eating this.

After all the eating and browsing around, it was quite late already.Therefore,we headed home with a happy tummy. :) That is all for today.Goodnight~
