4D3N Birthday Trip to BKK -1st Day

Finally our Trip to BKK is here!
My family drive me to the airport and meet bf for breakfast before bf and I took our flight
And then we checked in and boarded the Cathay Pacific flight CX712.
SOO excited as its OUR FIRST SOLO COUPLE TRIP! :)

High up in the sky,we were seated near the plane wing.
Our food came, there was no chicken pasta left so i took the fish with rice.
Touched down at BKK Suvarnabhumi airport safely.
We took the car which we booked for 800baht.
Cos we weren't sure if the taxi queue is long and wouldn't wanna delay our plan.
But end up was a little delayed cos of the traffic jam around 4pm
Reached THE BERKELEY HOTEL and was given Rm 29-10
The hotel room is very nice and comfy.
However we had problems with the drainage.The water flooded the toilet :(
We highlighted to the housekeeping staff and they were nice to clean it for us everyday.

We bought the HAPPY TOURIST sim card.
for only 299 bAHT - 7 days of international calls and unlimited internet.
RECOMMENDED !
We headed to Erawan Shrine for our prayers.
And we saw Chen Han Wei too!
We didn't took photo cos it's a respect to the Four-Faced Buddha.
We spent 50baht - 4 flowers,joss sticks and a candle.
And 360baht for four dancers .
Went to Chinatown for our dinner.
Heard that T&K Seafood has good reviews so we decided to try.
We queued for nearly an hour before we got a seat.

Morning Glory-taste soso only
Grilled Prawn - Taste good!!
Crab with glass noodles - Daebakkkkkkk!!
I will order this again~
The crab in curry sauce was disappointing much.Not nice at all!
the soft shell is everywhere..yuck!
If i were to come again; which maybe i wouldn't .
I would go for the prawn n crab with glass noodles and try the snapper?hmm
Went Nam Xing for Bird Nest !
We took the normal grade which cost 200 baht
and dapao 2 more back hotel.
The ginkgo nut super sweet and fresh.
WOW!at the diff grade of bird nest!!
We ordered one red and one white bird nest.
Red one is sweeter and nicer!A MUST TRY!
Walked to Lin Zhen Xiang to buy tibits
Pork Floss Roll, Fried Bak Kwa,Durian sweets.
The first 2 tasted super good.Regretted buying so little. :(

And then we went shopping at the night market below our hotel.
So many things to shop before we head back to our hotel room to rest.
