Food 27.9.15

Bf and i went to Marina square to exchange money for Taiwan and his desaru trip.

He manage to exchange his, but the money changer has no stock for Taiwan's

We then went to take a look at the new seafood market held at one of the marina square wing.

Went in to Senmi Sushi for our lunch.

The oyster is so refreshing.

The beef sushi taste normal...

This is worth it and nice -$15 for the rolls each

And cos the oyster is so good, i ordered another one,and this leave me in disappointment.

See the difference..where did my lemon go?

Went to try the Milk and Honey.And i still prefer llao llao..

But it's worth the try.

this is too sweet for my liking.

We head over to Chinatown to check on the taiwan currency before heading home to plan for our trip.

Super excited as it's around the corner :)

Sunday skating

JO&LQlovediary 20.9.15

Met up with bf at white sand for breakfast - Yakun :)

Then we headed to Kallang ice world.The person is so nice to charge us 2 student price and gave us more than the given timing. Lucky us.

And so..it's been a few months since we skate..or is it last year.

I forgotten how to skate and i fell twice and bf fell..once.

Lol..very tiring so i took pic of bf.

And then a wefie for both of us.

I bought the cute gloves from Daiso for just $2!

And after a few rounds of skating and a word from the small girl.
I can skate pretty well on my own, finally i got it right.

We had our lunch at Nihon Mura express.
Each plate cost $1.60 and it has a lot more varieties than sushi express.
We love the grilled prawns especially.

Bf and I went shopping and mooncake tasting at Orchard.

And our legs were aching from the continuous walking and aftermath of skating.

Dinner at Tanuki Raw.

Been wanting to try this after seeing lots of people raving at how good is the food.

So we ordered the Truffle yakiniku don,Chirashi don, strawberry lime apple cider and 2 oyster for $2 each.

Fresh Oysters - This is indeed fresh and good.I love this the most.

I felt disappointed, the don set is not as fantastic as what people said it is.
And each don set is like $18, so overrated.Only the oyster and cider is good.
Our total bill is $60 plus for 2 person, so expensive.

Bf and i head to Nex to bought cider back to my house which he said is nice to drink.
And also we wanted to buy the mooncake from Grand Hyatt, but the choc flavour was out of stock.
Anw, we got to my house and savouring the cider while facebooking.I got bf to also tied my hair cos my sprained thumb was weak,maybe i will do a video on that.Cos it's so funny how he don't know how to tie my hair,the countless effort on retying my hair and all.LOL

And guess what i got from skating :)
2 blue blacks, 1 abrasion, 1 sprained thumb

Farewell gathering with TP collegues

Work Clique 17.9.15

Went over to Switch at Timbre for "farewell gathering" for Jiexin and jiaen

The beer that i ordered- Lychee Kirin. Tasted bitter with a bit of lychee taste.

We ordered our usual duck pizza,salmon pizza, buffalo wings and truffle fries.

Along with some good music by the music band that destress us from work/study.

And this are my awesome bunch of TP working mates.

Always fun to work with them. *ignore my fat face*

But now is just left with Ting, Kar and me.But it still fun :)

Department trip to sports hub

Well ..today is our team bonding trip to the sports hub.

We had to take group shots and then we took a wefie -Ting , me , Kartini

And yes there is a lazy pool similar to WWW at Sport Hub - $3 for whole day.

And so the tour guide took us around the swimming complex, stadium.
The reason for having random red and white seats are to make it as though there are lots of people viewing it. And we could actually book the swimming lanes, i could not remember the price though.

Had lunch at Manhattan Fish Market and we were seated with our section members.

We ordered mussels, 1 for 1 dory fish set and brownie ice cream.

After our filled and scrumptious lunch, we head down to the sport library for some team bonding games. My section won the first game. Next, the whole admin team played Traffic Jam.This game is simple yet complicated and has to get the team to cooperate. And we succeeded this games after a few tries. We then had our coffee breaks at Manhattan fish market before continuing our "learning journey" at the Sport Hub Museum. This museum features the past athletes who have won singapore trophies. Kartini and i also explored the bicycle museum, and is super cool as it shows the bicycle mechanism and how bicycle has evolves over the years. The photos will do the talking for now..

All of us headed back to work for 1 hour and homed. :)

I felt that it's been a fruitful journey even though the learning journey is at sport hub.
Cos in the end i brought some new knowledge back.

Okay.... i am feeling disappointed cos the hotel which is nearer to XMD mrt station is fully booked.
I should have booked it without waiting for his reply.Now I'm regretting .My fault.
Just wanted to ensure that both of us agreed.

But now i'm not even excited about it.

Even though we booked the air tickets early,but the rest....

Maybe i should just care less, i somehow gave up...
