And so..we decided that it's time to move on to the next phase of our lives.We applied for BTO ( Tampines GreenRidges - 4 room) on the last day of the application period to ensure that we have made the right decision.Have been researching and found out that the application is not based on first come first serve basis but by LUCK.And this is it! Paid $10 for this application. *Pray hard we get a queue number! * Was feeling so nervous that day.
It's nerve wrecking as the days of the outcome of application result gets closer.And GUESS WHAT!!?? WE'VE GOT IT!! Our queue number is 117.It's not so bad afterall. We've got a chance to select our flat. YAY~!

We decided to also opt for the HDB Flooring(hopefully is a right choice).
Our letter to book our unit has arrived,we made 3 choices of our ideal unit numbers.However, as our date of selecting the flat gets closer, one of our ideal block got taken away. Therefore, we replaced our 2nd choice to the 1st choice and made an additional third choice. On the day itself,we prayed hard that our ideal unit number was not taken as there were one queue number in front of us (panic mode on). But YAY, WE MANAGED TO GET OUR IDEAL BLOCK and UNIT!! It's like a dream come true~
We paid an option fee of $2k and the following documents to bring can be found here. In addition,the person also brief and assist us on the application for housing grant. We queried our doubts since we are newbie at this and the staff is very friendly and patient to answer our questions.
A few months later...Our appointment to sign the agreement of lease is here!
We had to head down to the sales office at Toa Payoh on 13 May 2015
On that day, we were explained by the staff on the payment details of our house,our decision on housing grant and housing shares,mode of payment for our house(mostly deduct through CPF) and our final decision that we are sure on wanting this house. The estimated date for the house to be ready is 31 Jan 2020(stated in web).However, the person told us that it will be ready by 31 Jan 2018/9.
AND...
*signed on the agreement of lease*
Now, we are awaiting for the flat to be built and for our Collection of Key letter. *smile*
